We have decided that 2023 was our final Christmas at the Corner Market.
Moving forward, we will have Spring & Summer at the Corner Market, and then our Fall Festival and Fields of Fear seasons, and then we will close until the following spring. We have loved being part of our community’s holiday traditions for generations, so this was a difficult decision, but changes to the industry in the last decade have resulted in a product we are not proud to sell and a season that is no longer profitable.
Happy Thanksgiving! [IMAGES: Three messages on our marquee-style roadside signs. The signs are beige with red trim and “Cox Farms” at the top.#1: WE'RE THANKFUL FOR GOOD NEIGHBORS#2: WE'RE THANKFUL FOR CHOSEN FAMILY#3: THANKFUL FOR THE SHES, THE GAYS & THE THEYS] ... See MoreSee Less

We’ll get through this. But we’re gonna need a bigger sign.[IMAGES: Three messages on our marquee-style roadside signs. The signs are beige with red trim and “Cox Farms” at the top.#1: WE’RE GONNA NEED A BIGGER SIGN#2: DON’T PANIC. ORGANIZE.#3: THE ONLY WAY OUT IS THROUGH.] ... See MoreSee Less
Will be tuning in every day ❤️🩹
Joy is an act of resistance.
I LOVE and APPRECIATE EVERYTHING Cox Farms stands for. Thank you!
Wow, one of the best farms in Loudoun County burning their own bridges absolutely amazing they are looking to lose most of their business. Wow absolutely wow I’ve never seen a business publicly. Try to humiliate and create disturbance and their own County good job Cox farm.
And this is why Cox Farms VA will always get my $$$ and my support!!!
Where's the gofundme, I'll contribute to a bigger sign!
I am still in shock But there are good people with a conscience They just need to organize and become a force for real American values We will rise again
We are from New Jersey and like to stop by Cox Farm when we visit our daughter and her family in Chantilly. We love your signs and appreciate your messages!
Since I don’t get to drive by your place, “Honk, Honk”
I love you guys. Thank you for being on the correct side of history! 💙
Cox Farms VA I tell everyone that asks me about why I haul a huge group of our friends (we roll 20 deep some years!) out for Field of Fear, instead of to the (and trust me when I say this) FAR more conveniently located Maryland option near our house. This is why. The haters in these comments are new here, ignore them. I and many have watched you use your signs/visibility/platform in the middle of a fairly red area of Virginia to be a community lighthouse and a reminder to the scared, hidden, closeted, abused, and wronged, that they had someone in their corner. A big someone, a someone who would speak. Because we need more of this, more bravery from those with safer platforms. More allies being obnoxious and big and vocal, so that those who have to be quiet know when and where they can be safe. Thank you, Cox Farms <3 For being loud and visible and an example, even now. Especially now.
Get through what? Peace in the world, prosperity for everyone, people from other countries who want to call the United States their home vetted to keep our country secure? This is what we all will be finally “getting through.” And thank God for this!
You are something special. Thank you! Keep it coming, you're doing more good than you can know.
Love Cox Farms now and always, and desperately need inspiration during these dark and challenging times. It was be a tough 4 years, but there will be a light at the end of the tunnel, just like a good hayride!!!
And this is why we love Cox Farms. Might have to take the long way to work tomorrow so I can drive by and see the sign.
These signs made me smile and I really, really needed that!
Do I spy 508 compliance?!? Love it
You’ll love those tax breaks tho when they come
Love you, Cox Farms!
Amazing to see all these supportive comments! Love to you all beautiful people who stand for better human values! ❤️
I live in Georgia now, but visited there for so many years… growing up there and taking all four of my children there. So wonderful to see this sign. Sally Henderson…. Yes!!!!!
I’ve been to Cox Farms the past three years for a Fall day with friends. I’ve never paid attention to the signs. 😂 This is fabulous! Thank you!
Peace and love, brothers and sisters, and on we go 💙
Cox Farms VA You help me keep my spirits up! Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Cox Farms VA You are a valued member of the Fairfax County, Northern Virginia community, an absolute treasure to our children for your many treats and wonderful Fall festivals, and a beacon of courage and hope to those of us adults who support beauty, compassion, justice, equality, and humanity in every shape and size under the rainbow 🌈 Thank you for being the coolest farm around 💙
November 5 was the final day of our fall season and we’re closed until the end of April. That’s a lot of time for roadside signs, so comment with your ideas! (Edited to clarify: these signs are currently up, but we change the messages regularly so we’ll need fresh ideas!)[IMAGES: A series of four photos, each showing a different message on our marquee-style roadside signs. The signs are beige with red trim and red lettering that says “Cox Farms” at the top, and each sign has four tracks with sliding black letters. The letters are all caps, which is okay bc we’re basically yelling into the void that is NoVa traffic.Sign 1: OMG SO EMBARRASSING Sign 2: EW CRINGESign 3: WE’RE NOT MAD, WE’RE DISAPPOINTED (AND AFRAID)Sign 4: WE NEVER LIKED HIMTo be clear, we actually are mad. Honestly this is CRINGE, and EMBARRASSING. Messicks Farm Buckland Farm Fairview Farm Leesburg Animal park All great alternatives that I’m sure won’t involve politics into children’s events.
Funny how everyone here is supposedly for humanity and inclusion but these signs and comments are awfully hateful to people who disagree with you! Will be praying for you all 🙏
Solid choice to keep trying to divide rather than come together. Unity is what your side is preaching and yet division is all you have to offer. 🙄
To be clear: We were severely disappointed the last time we went to Cox Farm and now after this we will absolutely Never come back. We have come every year for 15 years but never again because we are American and there are many other pumpkin patches that are pro America, less money, less crowds, closer to home, and this is truly despicable. You've lost over $200/year for yourself solely with my family.
I didn’t realize yall needed to use a PUMPKIN FARM as a political platform. Boo… people go there to escape this nonsense. Do better. 🇺🇸
Yall are mad, i love it.. and just for “clarification” i 100% support your guys right to free speech and expressing your beliefs…But…..dont be a sore loser. Take your L like an adult, he won the election, he won the popular vote, republicans won the senate and look like there going to win the house too. MAJORITY of a americans were fed up and this election is a perfect example of that.. your in the minority, but good luck keeping your business afloat now. God bless you and have a good day. ✌🏼
How about Sign 5: we love war, crime, and unaffordable groceries!!
I have 23 grandkids - bye bye.
Why we haven’t been back. Good luck with your partisan business adventure.
Another reason why Cox farm is the best and is my happy place in the fall. :)
This makes me so sad to see 😭 our family has come to your farm for years making traditions. It’s not so much about “red or blue” but the divisive spirit that these comments bring. When you calmly hear people out about why they may have voted red a lot of them will tell you it is because they support RFK in his FIGHT against big food, big agriculture, big pharma etc. Most of these people support small farms AND farmers believing that they can heal our cancerous and dying country. As a FARM and BUSINESS you have a great opportunity to impact so many lives for GOOD! These comments are far from good. They are focused on the wrong agenda. I support your freedom of speech and belief, just disappointed to see you use your popularity and time to slander instead of standing up for REAL food and agriculture. THATS what we should be focused on. Not a person and their lack of good character 💔
We’ve flown up from Oklahoma every year for the past 18 years to visit your farm in October. My family has loved it since we were kids, and wanted our kids to have the same experiences. Because you chose politics, and now lost our business. We are a family of 20 plus more. We will take our business somewhere else in the future. 🇺🇸
I hope everyone who is saying they won’t return stands on their word. My family would like a chance to come without you all there 😂🤭🤭
How about, “I just lost all of my customers because I don’t know my customer base.”
It doesn’t matter which candidate this is about…. It doesn’t matter who is “ new here “ …. It’s still tasteless. We get it, Cox Farms has been “ like this”. How can any adult with common sense not see how unprofessional this is? This is a business that should act professional. Of course everyone can do as they please but seems appropriate to keep your emotions separate from your business. Children and young adults visit this establishment. Set an example. Before I get replies like “ We are setting an example ! Stand up for what you believe in ! ” 🤦🏼♀️ This is NOT it ! 😔
Messicks farm market, Buckland farm market, maple tree farm, there’s a lot better out near fauquier. 🙂
"Elected does not mean respected"
I went to Cox farms this year for the first time ever and my brother worked there too. I had fun with some friends, but it's sad to see such views, at least politics in general, on a business platform. And, not all your employees feel the same way you do. Neither do your consumers. It's a shame to have to bring politics into all this...and since Cox farms is open to many different people who go to have fun, and bring their children, it's disgusting that there was a pride flag (or something similar) out in the open. Not everyone supports that. You have to cater to the public in a sense...
It's people like the ones that run Cox Farm who are the reason this country is divided. To have stuff like this on your entrance sign because you don't like the outcome is unnecessary. They are, or used to be, a farm for families to come and escape this nonsense. Continue focusing on that and bring people together. Do better.
This is gonna lose some business I’m not to sure I’d have political views going on a business sign weather you agree with trump or don’t
Lost a family of 5 here. Imagine many others, too. ✌🏻RIP
“Wow! The first felon before the first woman”
As long as there are places like Cox Farms, we will be ok. Most people are good, even if the trump cult tries to tear us apart. Thank you for showing us what a business with integrity looks like. 💙 🇺🇸 🫂
At the farm, we are not all fam.
I haven't been to Cox Farm for about 20 years... but expect me to be a regular as soon as you reopen! LOVE LOVE LOVE that you are using your platform for this!!!
Final days to play! The Fall Festival is open 10 AM-5 PM today and tomorrow (Mon 11/4 and Tue 11/5), with last entry at 4 PM. After tomorrow, our festival grounds (including all of our giant slides, hayrides, etc.) will be closed until September 2025. Keep in mind that this is also your final opportunity to stock up on apple cider, kettle corn, donuts, and enough pumpkins and squash to feed you through winter! We had the best day there today! I was told you all won't be having your Christmas market this year. Is that true?!
We got our tix for tomorrow! Seems like a good way to forget my worries after I vote! 💙
We love cox farms!
We had a perfect day today!
Madam president?!! 😂 Not today. He's now bodied two loser women politicians.
