We have decided that 2023 was our final Christmas at the Corner Market.
Moving forward, we will have Spring & Summer at the Corner Market, and then our Fall Festival and Fields of Fear seasons, and then we will close until the following spring. We have loved being part of our community’s holiday traditions for generations, so this was a difficult decision, but changes to the industry in the last decade have resulted in a product we are not proud to sell and a season that is no longer profitable.
We're obsessed. Homegrown tomatoes are entering their peak and we cannot get enough. BYOEVOO! (ifkyk)Seriously, though... not trying to freak you out or anything, but the Corner Market is only open for another month. You've got five weekends to gobble up enough homegrown tomatoes to last you until next summer. Virginia sweet corn, watermelon lemonade, and peach milkshakes are also fleeting seasonal treasures, so enjoy them while they last! There is nothing better than a fresh local tomato, warm from the sun, eaten over the kitchen sink. Especially when you can buy it from a local farm or farmers market. :-)
Is the corner store open on Sun?
Will be there in the morning!
Smokin' Saturday is here again! Life is peachy, and you should join us for a peach milkshake or a peach lemonade, because there is nothing like peak seasonal flavor. [IMAGE: A deliciously creamy peach milkshake with a mint garnish. In the background is a stainless milkshake cup and a fuzzy peach. Yes, this image may be a throwback to 2019 when we first debuted peach milkshakes and realized that the garnish meant we could express our enjoyment by saying "MMMMMM-peach-mint."] ... Hey Cox! Can you post a recipe for some of us who have moved out of the area and can no longer easily visit you guys for deliciousness?

This Smokin' Saturday features an epic Pesto Duel- Lucas and Sam battle it out in this annual event, and you can decide whose pesto is best! Pesto demos will run 11-1, which means you can also join us for lunch while enjoying live music 12-2, and catch a hayride shuttle to Foamhenge 1-2. Details here: www.facebook.com/share/2oGmbBZtqRAH9ZGF/If you can't make it to the Pesto party, you can still swing by to stock up on summer produce! Today is your last chance to stock up for July 4 festivities! The Corner Market is open until 7 PM today. Sweet corn for the grill, hanging baskets to decorate the deck, watermelon because it wouldn't feel like a summer BBQ without it... and don't forget kettle corn to munch on during the fireworks!
