Every day we take pause to appreciate the diversity and energy unique to the region. We also understand the challenges many families, schools and organizations face. We have seen generations grow alongside us, and we consider helping our neighbors an important responsibility that we take seriously. Through partnerships and our cultivated community initiatives, we hope to provide local families and organizations with resources and activities that lead to healthier, happier communities, from the Washington Monument to our Hayride Start and beyond.
Our Free and Reduced Admission Initiative provides kids with the opportunity to attend our highly anticipated Fall Festival. We provide free admission to kindergarten classes at public Title 1 schools in the DMV!
Thank you for your interest in our free and reduced admission initiative. The application period is now closed; we are no longer accepting requests for support. Please check back next summer to apply for the 2024 Fall Festival season.
We are proud to support our community!
We focus on providing material donations and support to our closest public schools, organizations that support individuals and families facing poverty and homelessness, and the causes that are most important to our Cox Farmers. Find eligibility details and donation request forms here.
In 2011, Cox Farms started a campaign to "adopt a family" in need by agreeing to match any donation made in lieu of tips during the winter season. Our Holiday Donation campaign quickly transformed into a major initiative, with more than $75,000 donated to local organizations, such as Britepaths and Northern Virginia Family Services since 2011.
