The Community Cultivators Discount is our way of honoring a specific group of public service workers whose everyday efforts reflect the kind of future we’re trying to grow toward. These are the folks who educate, care for, and support our communities from within public systems: not for profit or power, but for the public good.
We know that many people contribute to the well-being of our communities in important ways, including those in private or nonprofit roles. We value and appreciate all of that work. But this discount is intentionally focused: a small gesture of gratitude for those doing essential, often unseen work in public institutions that help hold our communities together.
Eligible Community Cultivators can receive 20% off up to four Regular Fall Festival tickets on the following weekends:

This offer is valid for Fall Festival admission only, on the dates listed, and is not valid for Fields of Fear or Market purchases.
This discount is for people employed in public-facing roles by federal, state, or local governments, public agencies, and public institutions. These include:
Public School Employees (Pre-K through 12 and public colleges/universities): Teachers, aides, counselors, school psychologists, social workers, custodial staff, food service workers, bus drivers, administrators, etc.
Public Health Workers: Employees of government-run health departments or agencies, including public EMTs, firefighters, emergency dispatchers, public health educators, community mental health counselors, social workers, and medical professionals working in public health settings.
Natural Resource & Environmental Stewards: Government employees working in conservation, environmental science, public parks, forestry, wildlife management, and related fields.
Community Culture Workers: Employees of public libraries, public museums, public radio, public broadcasting, and government-funded community outreach or education programs.
This discount is not available to: government employees outside the scope defined above, private school employees, homeschoolers, private medical professionals, government contractors, retired or active military, police/law enforcement, ICE agents, or political appointees or administrative support staff for elected officials.
We recognize that this may exclude individuals doing meaningful work, and we don’t make that decision lightly. This is about honoring a particular kind of public service that often operates quietly and with little recognition: service that aligns closely with our values and our vision for what strong communities need.
